~~~Viewing BR|E as an interview changes it fundamentally from a strategy into an activity. Progressive economic development leaders have been quietly producing substantive results by moving BR|E to the center of their organization’s strategy. Four key steps: 1) Move existing client in the middle of the organization’s strategy, 2) Focus interviews on strategic info. Not what you want to know, but what need to know! (big difference), 3) Use findings to inform all resource allocation decisions and all program refinements, 4) Prioritize actions for the highest ROI.
